Movies!

Everyone who knows me can attest for my affinity for movies. I seriously Love them...collecting them, watching them, everything.. There have been countless times when i have turned on HBO, found a movie i know nothing about and enjoyed the cinematic adventure. haha I just got back from seeing up in the air with George Clooney and found it quite fascinating. I've always liked George Clooneys work and this one was no different. For those who don't know much about this movie its about this character Ryan Bingham (George Clooney), who job primary consists of downsizing companies, cutting loose ends type of stuff. He travels heavily and loves it, lives by it. But when the company hires this new girl who who develops a method of video conferencing to fire without ever leaving the office. Ryan Realizes that his way of life is in danger and also begins to realize the pitfalls of the life he lives.. Kinda sad depressing movie, but i thought it was way good so i would recommend it!

skiing....and my bro

So i know i have been slackin big time on this thing but i will try to keep up this year. But this winter so far has been awesome, i got a snowboarding pass to the canyons and have been enjoying many fun days up there with friends. My brother Jordan also came to visit me and is about to go on a mission in the beginning of next month so if was great to spend some quality time with him.. he some pics of the winter so far.

Upcoming!!!

So i don't have much to say really right now, everything has been kinda routine in my life this past week, nothing to exciting unfortunately. But these next few weeks should actually be pretty fun! Im going to see this halloween play thing called Thriller, I've never seen it but everyone raves about it. I also got invited to this character halloween party this which sounds like a blast. It's pretty much a character party where everyone gets a character randomly chosen for them. My character is Blake Batton who is the quarterback/jock/popular/Homecoming King. Im paired up with a girl (I forget her details).. and there is a whole background thing on all these characters and they are all intertwined somehow, sounds intriguing.. It's like a murder, mystery thing, you have to dress up and everything and act your character so should be fun!

Clothes, clothes, Gym and Nutrition!

So today i straight raided Urban Outfitters. I have found myself recently not shopping much because of the whole no money thing, but today i went overboard! I gotta a lot of cool shoes, jeans, plaid shirts, sweatshirts, etc.. All in all, it was a pretty fun day!

On a second Note, one of my goals I have set for myself is to go to the gym 4-5 times a week and eat a whole lot better.. Luckily my roommate is a health freak and goes to the gym like crazy! I now frequent the Sunflower market which sells all healthy whole food items, it's slowly becoming my new favorite store, but one of the biggest accomplishments for me is that I have been off soda for a week now! I know that is not a long time for most but it's probably the longest I've gone without soda in my whole life. Final result after a week in a half!?!... Eating healthy and going to the gym for at least an hour feels great! and soda might actually make you fatter, i can actually see a difference!

Decisions, Decisions...

So, I've been thinking a lot this week about some crucial decisions that are going to be upcoming in my life.. I have no clue what is going to happen, where I'm going to live, work, etc.. But one thing i do know is that I want to be closer to the spirit, making sure i am able to receive crucial guidance, which will allow me to make the best decision for me. I am making a concerted effort to focus more on the good things in my life and half already seen the benefits and rewards from doing so. I'm excited for the future and what's to come and am eager to see these new adventures unfold in my life. Wish me luck!
